OPT-E-MAN has the ability to support many transport data configurations, whether it is point-to-point, point-to-multipoint, or multipoint-to-multipoint. OPT-E-MAN uses both physical and virtual connections to meet business requirements.

Using Ethernet Virtual Connections (EVCs) to transmit Ethernet LAN packets that run over optical fiber to your intraLATA network, OPT-E-MAN, is also able to transmit Internet access to Network Based VPN service. Using a router, bridge, or switch, the fiber transport is able to connect you to network terminating equipment at your chosen location, and you decide when to connect to the service.
